Bringing home a dachshund puppy? This pack has two harnesses to get the training started early! 🐾

Our Puppy Starter Harness Packs are designed to make those first few weeks easier — for both you and your tiny sausage.

Very young puppies (around 8–12 weeks) are often too small for our XXS harness straight away until their chest develops. This pack includes a lightweight puppy starter harness to help your pup get used to wearing a harness until their chest grows into their Lazy Doxie Co extended chest plate fit.

Once their chest develops, they can graduate into our XXS long chest plate harness, designed specifically for dachshunds.

Think of it as training wheels for tiny sausages.

Why We Created This Pack:

Dachshund puppies grow quickly — but their bodies grow in stages.

At 8–12 weeks they are often:

• Too small for a standard harness

• Still learning how to walk on lead

• Getting used to wearing gear

The starter harness helps introduce them safely, while the XXS harness is ready for when their chest fills out.

Important Notes

• The starter harness is designed for short-term use while your puppy is very small.

• Once your puppy’s chest grows, we recommend transitioning to the XXS Lazy Doxie Co harness included in the pack.

• The XXS harness can also be purchased individually if needed.

We offer flat rate standard ($12) or express ($17) postage through Australia Post (AU Only). All orders over $100AUD receive free standard rate postage.
International postage varies by location, however is set at a flat rate by Australia Post.
