Lazy Doxie Co – Fitting Studio Terms & Conditions
Our fitting studio has been designed to provide a calm, private, low-stress environment for dachshunds and other small breeds who may not feel comfortable in a traditional retail setting. To ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors, please read the following before booking and attending your appointment.
Appointments
• All sessions are strictly by appointment only.
• Walk-ins are not available.
• Appointments are approximately 1 hour in duration.
• Maximum 2 adult visitors per booking.
• Maximum 2 dogs from the same household per booking.
• One vehicle per booking only due to limited parking availability.
Booking Deposit
A redeemable fitting/styling deposit may apply to appointments in the future.
• Deposits are redeemable towards products purchased during your appointment.
• Deposits are non-refundable for no-shows or late cancellations.
• Appointments cancelled with more than 24 hours notice may be rescheduled.
• No-shows or arrivals more than 20 minutes late without communication may result in cancellation of the appointment and forfeiture of the deposit.
Arrival & Parking
• Please arrive on time for your appointment.
• Parking is available onsite within the driveway area only.
• Please do not arrive excessively early as appointments are private and one booking is scheduled at a time.
Children & Additional Visitors
Due to the small studio size and focus required during fittings:
• children are not permitted during appointments,
• additional guests are not permitted, and
• prams/strollers are not permitted unless designed for pets.
Dog Behaviour & Safety
Reactive, anxious, vocal, or nervous dogs are welcome, however this must be disclosed at the time of booking so we can ensure the safest possible environment for all visitors.
• All dogs must remain leashed or secured at all times unless otherwise instructed.
• Owners remain fully responsible for supervising and controlling their dogs during the appointment.
• Any aggressive behaviour towards people or other dogs must be disclosed prior to attending.
• Lazy Doxie Co reserves the right to end an appointment immediately if any behaviour is considered unsafe or poses a risk to people, dogs, or property.
Hygiene & Cleanliness
Please do not attend your appointment if your dog is:
• unwell,
• experiencing vomiting or diarrhoea,
• known to have fleas or contagious skin conditions, or
• recovering from a contagious illness.
Toilet accidents can occasionally happen and will be handled reasonably on a case-by-case basis. However, customers may be required to purchase products damaged beyond cleaning or repair due to toileting, marking, chewing, or destructive behaviour.
Fitting Advice
Fitting guidance provided during appointments is based on product knowledge, sizing experience, and general comfort and safety considerations for dachshunds and similar breeds. This advice does not replace veterinary advice, behavioural advice, or professional medical recommendations.
Photography & Social Media
We may occasionally request permission to photograph or film your dog during fittings for social media or marketing purposes.
Customers may choose:
• whether photos/videos are taken,
• whether owners appear in content,
• whether their dog may be tagged/shared publicly.
No customer content will be shared without permission.

The Lazy Doxie Co Fitting Studio operates from a private residential property. We kindly ask all visitors to respect our home, neighbours, parking arrangements, and appointment times.
