These two are the heart (and snouts) behind Lazy Doxie Co. From sunbathing to blanket burrowing, Vetkoek and Oreo live the lazy life to its fullest—and that’s exactly what inspired our brand.
Tired of harnesses that didn’t fit, chafed under the legs, or just weren’t made for long-bodied loafs like them, they took matters into their own paws (with a little help from their human). Every Lazy Doxie Co product is tested by this dynamic duo for maximum comfort, sass, and nap-ability.
Specialties:
- Vetkoek: Blanket burrower, security alert specialist, and certified snuggle expert.
- Oreo: Sun-powered couch king, vocal snack advocate, and self-appointed taste-tester.
Together, they make sure every item passes the ultimate test: Would a lazy doxie wear this and still nap for hours?

Frustrated by harnesses that just didn’t fit their boys properly, Sally turned a problem into a passion project.
With a background in design and a deep love for dachshunds, she created Lazy Doxie Co to deliver better-fitting gear for long-bodied pups - and a brand that celebrates their quirky, stubborn, loveable charm.
Behind the scenes, Brett is the calm to the chaos - helping bring ideas to life, supporting the day-to-day, and jumping in wherever needed (especially when things get busy).
Together, they’re building Lazy Doxie Co from the ground up - with a little help from their two very important supervisors, Oreo & Vetkoek 🐾
