How to measure your Dachshund for our Harnesses

  • As our harnesses are a different fitment, our sizing is different to standard so measuring is important to get the correct fit.
  • Our harnesses are adjustable, so the size range does overlap per size which allows flexibility.

1. Measure around your Dachshunds neck where they would wear their collar, to get the Neck Circumference measurement

2. Measure your Dachshund around their widest point of their waist to get the Waist Circumference measurement

3. Match these measurements to our size table below to find your Dachshunds size.

How to select a size from our chart

If you measure your Doxie and they are in-between two sizes, we recommend:

Sizing UP if:

  • if they are still growing
  • If the in-between size is close to the larger size for both neck and waist measurements

Sizing DOWN if:

  • They are fully grown and closer to the smaller size than the larger in the in-between measurement
  • If one measurement is in the smaller size and does not overlap, and the other is in-between sizes

XS Neck: 29cm - 36cm; Chest: 36cm - 48cm
S Neck: 35cm - 44cm; Chest: 41cm - 54cm
M Neck: 39cm - 51cm; Chest: 46cm - 61cm
